how to prevent users getting notifications if they decline a teams meeting from Outlook?

In my organisation we have an issue with users getting notifications from an Outlook Teams meeting that they have declined to attend. Is there a way to "not bother" them with all the notifications that happen inside the meeting?

  • Look in the notification settings in the Teams client. There are different options for this there

      I'm sorry for being daft but i just cant find the Client settings you are referring to.

      Any chance you can help out?

      • Click your profile photo- settings - notifications - scroll down to meeting settings
