How to PowerAutomate email invites to Shared MSTeams calendar?
Hello,
Problem: Individual members of our company team receive different email invitations that are online, regional and national in their targeting. We only receive an .ics file after registering which is problematic as we are often unsure if we can commit when the invitation is received. Consequently, the invites are flagged/filed/shared creating inbox noise/crowding before ultimately being missed or forgotten.
Desired State: Simplify and reduce inbox noise. We would like an easy way to have all of these emailed invitations visible in our MSTeams calendar so we can reference opportunities when we have more certainties in our schedules. We just need an easy way to take an invitation and send it to the shared team calendar as an event (title, date, event detials)
Question: I cannot find a simple Power Automate or Flow to achieve this... I was thinking of using an MSForms to event but honestly it would be introducing too many steps for folks. I'd love to use something simple like the "Make this Appt" QuickStep in the Outlook ribbon.. but I can only seem to get that to write back to my own personal calendar ... not the shared team one.
Help? Ideas?
