How to make a teams meeting without sending a notification on e-mail
- Sep 29, 2023
Luke_83 Which calendar would you like to add it to? Each person has a calendar app but they’ll need an invite for all events to appear there.
You could also add the Channel Calendar app to a standard channel that will show any Channel Meetings that have been scheduled.
Channel Meetings may or may not send an invite to individuals based on the Group settings.
Luke_83 can you elaborate a bit more about what you’d like to do.
I guess you could create a meeting with yourself and then share the meeting details in a separate message?
Or maybe a webinar where people need to register?

We want to create a meeting in teams that will be visible in the calendar, but so that these people do not receive an e-mail notification- HelloBenTeohSep 29, 2023Bronze Contributor

HelloBenTeoh I am using a Teams with many members; and also many channels.
Not all channels are of interest to all members but they should be able to consult and moderate if needed;
I use Channel calendars, and when I create a meeting in this calendar, all members of the Teams group get notified, even if I only put a few members in the invite. The toggle "Send personal invites" which suggests it will send an invitation to all the members, is unticked, but still all receive the invitation.
How do I remedy to this?
