File Sync
When the Sync option is selected from the Files tab nothing appears to happen. If I "Open in SharePoint " and Sync it works. Any ideas why?

This ought to work, try this
1.) Ensure Teams is up to date > go to avatar > check for updates > make sure it's updated
2.) Log out completely from Teams and quit the program
3.) Clear the cache (https://commsverse.blog/2018/09/28/clear-the-microsoft-teams-client-cache/)
4.) Log back in and try again, of course on one that isn't synced
Let me know how you get on
