Embedded font not sharing properly when in Powerpoint live in Teams- with exceptions!?
So, my team use a .TTF we have created and embedded into our PowerPoints. We run Windows 11 on different laptops, usually Dell (if that matters) and have come across something very bizarre. When sharing via PowerPoint live in Microsoft Teams the main slide displayed comes across in a random unrecognisable font (not even in English). But the display thumbnails for the presenter show the correct font. And to top it all off, if you view it in the playback it shows the correct font!? Any ideas what sort of shenanigans are happening?

- I have tried to raise a ticket, but unfortunately my personal account is only for the free version.
I was told that my organisation IT Admin has to raise a ticket, for the work account, and the chat agent I spoke to was unable to raise a ticket on my behalf! Crazy.- I will pass this also as a bug to the team!
I have the same problem -- just started and is specific to non-standard fonts, like zT Grafton Utra Lite. i have it installed and all was well until the last few weeks.
We are having the exact same issue. It started happening on Wednesday when my colleague was trying to run a training session via Teams. They ended up having to share a window rather than using the present in Teams button or Present Live option under share. This meant they couldn't see the Notes though - which was not very helpful when running a 3.5hr Training session. I wonder if there has been an update to PowerPoint or Teams or Both?

we have the same issues since some days. No matter if on old or new teams version.- Did you change to Windows 11? I've made a ticket with Microsoft Teams, hopefully they get back to me!
No we didnt made any changes.
The problem is independent of OS (Win10 or Win11) and no matter in which tenant the client/file is boarded.
Still the problem even when the font is embedded.

Rachel-Design this seems a bug to me. I would recommend to create a ticket for this.
