Document Format Conversion In Channels

I am reaching out to see if anyone is familiar with converting a document in a Teams Channel's folder from one format (for example, Excel) into Word.

My dilemma is my team uploads documents into a Teams Channel's folder (say in Excel or Powerpoint) that I need to convert into Word format prior to being able to gather information from said document.

Is there a way to do this in Teams without saving the document separately as a PDF, then converting it into Word? I am looking for a way to do this in Teams via a Bot or some form of automation so it can be done on an ongoing basis. A suggestion on an app or program that may be able to do this would be great!
