Disable Lobby For All Meetings
Is there a global setting to disable the lobby for all meetings? It seems I can go to Meeting Options, then set "Who can by pass the lobby?" to Everyone. But this is on a meeting by meeting basis. Is there a way I can disable this for all meetings?
- You can configure default value for this setting in the Meeting policy assigned to your user(s): https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/settings-policies-reference#meeting-join--lobby
Unfortunately, there is no way to "enforce" this setting via policy, but only configure the default value - organizers can override it.
To "lock down" this setting, there are two options: create a new meeting template or assigning a (mandatory) sensitivity label to meetings. Both are Premium options unfortunately.
