Controlling emails to channel

Hello, 

We have an RMM that emails a Teams channel when a server is offline. What they've started doing though is emailing again when it's back online.

Is there a way to filter emails out that start with 'RE:' that go to the Teams channel? As the email isn't routed through our Exchange, the mail rules wont apply.
