Client keeps getting email notifications, despite having opted out of them

Hello everyone,

I have a client where I can't figure out the following situation; He keeps getting emails about the chat conversations from a certain channel within Teams, despite having opted out of receiving emails.

Any idea? See attached pictures.

Thanks

LG1981 These notifications are only coming to the group mailbox?  Or they are also being delivered directly to the Inbox (I can't tell from the screenshots)?  For further controls you can also hover over the "..." for a channel to control notifications.

The notification settings you showed for the all up Teams preferences do reflect no direct teams announcement emails for activity.

      JoshLeporati Thanks for the response.

He's getting them only in that group mailbox. However his "unread" mails keep growing because of that. He doesn't want that.

The channel settings are turned off for that as well, so he should actually not get any emails, not sure why he does though.
