Class assignments for group work

Hi, I am using Teams in my Mechanical Engineering classes. I ask students to hand in reports for group work, and I am trying to find a way to let them hand this in as a group (I am reluctant to call this a 'Team' since my classes are the 'Teams'). 

As it is now (afaik), individual students hand in the work for their group, but there is no administration as to who is in the group, and who has yet to hand in their report.

I am not looking for workarounds. I sincerely believe that this application is very common in Education, and if Teams is to be taken seriously in the classroom environment, this is a requirement.
