can't find option for full screen after update
The most recent update to teams moved the controls to the top but seems to have removed the ability to show the meeting in full screen. We do a lot of code sharing and depend on the ability stretch to full screen to make the code easier to read.
- rmhartman,
I just tested the True Full Screen for Screen Sharing function and it does give you a True Full Screen. Some Control Functions are maintained in the small User Image Window which can be repositioned easily.

month later and no solution (in new experience mode) for paying companies. not good.
- DE_End_UserCopper ContributorDesperately need Full Screen back #MSTeams #Teams #Microsoft. This we get from hundreds of people we have interaction over Teams. Please, please, provide it back again. The "Fokus" mode is not the same and people cannot find it anyway as naming is not intuitive. Thank you!

While I agree Full Screen should be implemented. I have to correct you. Unless you are referring to somewhere I haven't found in the earlier version of Teams, Full Screen did not exist in the earlier version either.
Before going to this new Experience option, Full Screen was not Full Screen either in that your User's Video (yourself) which was shown on the bottom portion of the screen also when in Full Screen mode. Normally this is what you would expect even in Full Screen Mode but instead of just overlaying the Full Screen image as it did in Skype, there was a Dark Grey Bar at the bottom of the screen where the User's Video (yourself) was placed. So you had a Dark Grey Bar at the Bottom of the screen which reduced the size of the Video Image in Full Screen Mode. I could accept the User's Video Image overlaying the Full Screen Image but not eliminating that portion of the Full Screen with a Dark Grey Bar.
Incidentally, this older version of Full Screen still can be gotten by going into Settings and unselecting the New Experience option and you go back to the way it was before this New Experience. But Still not a true Full Screen.

The more votes something gets the higher the priority and with your vote you will receive updates. https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/41277121-why-did-teams-remove-the-full-screen-option-during

If the reason for not adding full screen is an overloaded UI I'd suggest re-adding the functionality (which has already been implemented) using f as a keyboard shortcut for example (seems to be the convention in online video players at least). The target group seems to be software developers anyways and they don't really need to click on icons, do they? 😉
- rmhartmanCopper ContributorIf not keyboard 'f', then mouse double-click.

We really need full screen.
Please stop being fancy with "Focus".
Thank you.

While awaiting the Microsoft to make a new announcement.
If you want full-screen feature back just follow the simple steps as below:
- Click on your MS team profile icon on the top right corner
- Click on Settings
- Under Application -> Disable [Turn ON new meeting experience]
- Sign out from your Microsoft teams, close the MS Team window and sign back again
You will see the option to view in full-screen mode again.

Turning off New Experience Mode just gets you back to the old screen with the controls popup on the bottom of the screen and while it might look more like Full Screen mode, it is not. In this mode, even when you select Full Screen, you really don't get it because the User Picture of yourself goes on a Dark Gray Bar at the bottom of the Screen which is just about as much of the screen that you got on the Bar at the top of the screen where they moved the Controls to after the Update. The Dark Gray Bar at the bottom of the screen never goes away unless maybe you are Sharing your screen with the meeting participants. So, I never considered Microsoft Teams to have a real Full Screen mode which I considered very annoying.
I should also point out the people who seem to complain about not having Full Screen are those who are using Laptop Computers. I agree it can be more difficult to see things on a Laptop without Full Screen but for real work I use a 27" Desktop Monitor. I do my serious work on a Desktop Tower computer. with at least a 27" Monitor, you can see the information on the screen better. But even on a 27" Monitor, I believe we should have true Full Screen back without these Gray Bars taking up screen space.
Yes, we need to have Full Screen back at least the way Skype used to do it.
