can't find option for full screen after update
While awaiting the Microsoft to make a new announcement.
If you want full-screen feature back just follow the simple steps as below:
- Click on your MS team profile icon on the top right corner
- Click on Settings
- Under Application -> Disable [Turn ON new meeting experience]
- Sign out from your Microsoft teams, close the MS Team window and sign back again
You will see the option to view in full-screen mode again.

Bishnu
Turning off New Experience Mode just gets you back to the old screen with the controls popup on the bottom of the screen and while it might look more like Full Screen mode, it is not. In this mode, even when you select Full Screen, you really don't get it because the User Picture of yourself goes on a Dark Gray Bar at the bottom of the Screen which is just about as much of the screen that you got on the Bar at the top of the screen where they moved the Controls to after the Update. The Dark Gray Bar at the bottom of the screen never goes away unless maybe you are Sharing your screen with the meeting participants. So, I never considered Microsoft Teams to have a real Full Screen mode which I considered very annoying.
I should also point out the people who seem to complain about not having Full Screen are those who are using Laptop Computers. I agree it can be more difficult to see things on a Laptop without Full Screen but for real work I use a 27" Desktop Monitor. I do my serious work on a Desktop Tower computer. with at least a 27" Monitor, you can see the information on the screen better. But even on a 27" Monitor, I believe we should have true Full Screen back without these Gray Bars taking up screen space.
Yes, we need to have Full Screen back at least the way Skype used to do it.

Jim_B175 This is a good point. And I tend to agree about the full-screen option always being a "poor mans" full-screen while other Microsoft owned software does it better. I would just like to point out that the solution is not to have a bigger monitor than the other guy. When he/she is sharing her screen and we both have the same screen in my organisation, I should be able to see an accurate reproduction of her screen. The expectation is that the same pixel resolution would be presented given we have the same desktop resolution and physical monitor size. This is the baseline for having the most readable text before video compression. A true full-screen option does this. In the "new experience", Microsoft teams has no option that satisfied this requirement.

I believe you and I are basically in agreement but I will point out many organizations even using Desktop computers with separate monitors do not all use the same specification of Monitors., They will be different sizes (with the executives getting the bigger and nicer Monitors probably) and even different manufacture's Monitors (ASUS, Dell, Viewsonic, etc.). So, I believe your statement about everyone having the same size and resolution Monitors or Displays isn't entirely a valid point.
I just know there are Video Conference Application which give you a True Full Screen. Skype at least at one time did (although they put the Picture In Picture User Image on top of the Full Screen Display). Even Microsoft Teams does the same thing when Sharing your Screen. I've seen it unless I missed something when I was looking at it.
So yes, I agree with you we need to get Full Screen with Microsoft Teams as other Applications do.

Jim_B175 Thanks for your reply. While you are right it will be different for many organisations, in our organisation everyone tends to use the same screen sizes across the board. However, while this is not 100% true, I only know of a few mac users in our organisation who have different screen resolutions - most run 1920x1080. The pixel resolution is a much more significant factor than the physical size of the monitor.
