Automatic initials are taking my business

Hi SebDev, this is a real edge case where the default initials behavior creates a business problem. The practical workaround is still to use a neutral profile image or company logo, but your note about external tenants matters because profile photos do not always cross tenant boundaries. I would open feedback through Teams and Microsoft 365 admin support asking for an option to choose a generic avatar instead of initials, especially for external/federated meetings. For now, I would also add a neutral logo to your meeting background or display name where appropriate so external customers do not see unexplained initials without context.
