Adding or removing members to a Teams meeting notifies everyone
Is there a way in Teams, to keep it from notifying everyone of a meeting when the user has accepted in a recurring meeting and you add or remove someone all members get notified? In SfB, when you made an adjustment of adding or removing you could update and only notify the new people added or removed and not everyone in the meeting, but that doesn't seem to exist in Teams and we are in the process of moving people to Teams only and this is one of the most annoying features whether it is a converted meeting or a new one.
- Hi Jeffrey Allen,
I still tend to book meetings via Outlook into Teams and through this you have the choice to only notify the added or deleted users or all in recurring meetings.
If you can’t do this for meetings booked directly through Teams I would look to raise a uservoice
https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/
I would vote on it for sure, but I would be interested to see if a workaround, apart from using Outlook for meeting booking/amendments would be to see if you have the choice above in Outlook after you have booked the meeting directly in Teams. That could be a bridging workaround for the time being
Hope that helps and answers your question!

ChrisHoardMVP, I already posted to uservoice but was asking around the tech community as well.
- For sure. Does Outlook work around it? I would be interested to know if this is the case
