Non Profit Step 3 does not work

Hi, I tried to create an non profit account but I got stuck in step 3 the verification with SMS/Call. It does not work on two different computers with different browsers and I also tried 4 different phone numbers. Can you help me here?

    Same here. Stuck at the 3rd step. No text, nor phone call. Edge, Chrome, Firefox : no luck.

    The '+' sign does not work.

    Also, there are some strange icons.

    Looking forward for assistance.

    I am getting exactly the same issue.  Has anyone made any progress on this?

    I’m sorry to hear you’re still experiencing the same issues despite my colleague Kenelle’s suggestion. Since this seems to be a problem specific to certain areas, I highly recommend opening a support ticket through our https://nonprofit.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus page.

    Here’s how to proceed:

    1. Click the link and type "support ticket" in the "How can we help?" box.
    2. Provide your organization’s information when prompted.
    3. In the "I am a..." field, select Prospective Nonprofit Customer.
    4. In the "What can we help you with?" field, select Registration.

    This will ensure one of our backend agents can investigate why you’re unable to register as expected.

      The link does not work and I can find no other way to get to the correct page. Please can you provide the correct link so that a ticket can be submitted.

    I have exactly the same problem. No error message, no nothing, but no text arrives or phone call is received. Tried a range of browsers, computers, and incognito modes.

    I have the same issue, havent been able to recevied the SMS or phone call. I already use the + sign in the secon square, in the first, change + only instead of +52 but nothing works.

    Hi,

    I am facing the same issue as well with UK based numbers. Either 07, +44 or just 44 does not work. Tried different browsers, different PCs, inprivate etc. I know we can create a business tenant first then apply however I wanted to apply for the Azure grant via the non-profit portal.

      Hi,

      So it is possible to create a business tenant and apply then for this tenant for non profit?

        Hi Fabian,

        In the intial sign up there is a box at the top to convert from business tenant. I guess you sign in first

  • Hello Fabian_21 .  I believe the issue is because you have a + sign in the second text box (phone number) where you are adding the rest of the phone number. You should only have the + sign in the first text box (country code) where you are selecting your country code.

      this was just to test different variations. I initially tried just the phone number with no country code but nothing works. Even different numbers don’t work.

    Hi Fabian_21,

     

    Sorry to hear you are experiencing verification issues, must be fustrated. Did you get any error messages when it failed to send SMS/Call? You may want to try entering your number with the country code format. Example with Australia number if 0412345678, you can try use +61412345678 see if that would get through.

      Hi DP,

      thank you for your suggestion I tried it and it does not work. It is not possible to add a + but I tried 0049 for Germany number. The Country code is set over an dropdown

    If it my help to identify the issue. When I request the code I get following response in the browser dev tools when I trigger the verification:

      Thank you for providing the capture of the page. It appears that an incomplete process is causing a blockage. I recommend that you submit a support ticket to address this issue. You can do so by visiting the "https://nonprofit.microsoft.com/contactus" section. We will also escalate this matter through the appropriate channels.
