Not able to continue editing in Outlook

Hi all,
I start interacting with M365 Copilot Chat and then I want to proceed editing in Outlook.

When trying to edit I get the following message in outlook. (sorry in Spanish, but basically says i don't have Copilot).

I checked admin configuration and not sure what´s wrong.
I have the paid licence, etc.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

  • Hi aciappa ,

I tried to reproduce the error you described. And guess what? I got the same error. At least I can tell you so far, you are not alone.

I have a M365 Copilot license. I am logged in with the licensed user. Working with Copilot in Outlook works otherwise perfectly fine.

    1. I asked M365 Copilot chat to draft an email.
    2. Click on edit in Outlook. Outlook opened and this is the error I received:

I sent a feedback to Microsoft. I recommend you to do it so using your "Enviar comentarios" button.

I will be troubleshooting, start by doing what Chris_Landtiser recommended.

If I find a way to solve it, I will share here.

    Thanks,

    Amelia

Hey! Is it possible you have different / multiple accounts logged in, particularly in Outlook?

We've had users encounter similar issues after setting up temporary learning accounts, using shared Service Accounts, and more.

Potentially doing a log out / log in check out reapplying the license are good "blank page" restarts too!
