Microsoft copilot stops while giving a response.
Why is this happening? Is there a solution for this? It just stops while giving response. And it has happened several times. And you can't even give prompt to continue from there. You should restart it. Does anyone have a solution for this? and I have restarted and reinstalled it 1000 times. You can't give prompt unless you restart

Hi ssubedi62, sorry to see you're facing an issue.
I have a quick follow-up question - Are you using Copilot Chat as part of your Microsoft 365 license (e.g. Business or Enterprise, with or without Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on license), or are you using the free Copilot Chat experience for personal use? From the look of your screenshot, it seems you're using Copilot Chat in Microsoft Edge as a personal user. Can you try using M365 copilot app and let us know if you're still seeing the issue? You can launch M365 copilot app from Windows search (by searching for M365 Copilot) or m365.cloud.microsoft/chat/.

Two reasons I can think of. Microsoft doesn't care. And I wouldn't trust copied to speak my weight. It will placate you up and down and in and out and around and around. Often gives incorrect answers just to make you feel better.. Can't be trusted. Microsoft copilot constantly hangs up part way through its answer. Can't get anything out of it. The Voice interface is totally useless. If you are a vision impaired or blind person like me co-pilot is not for you.

I am having the same issue and have to keep asking the desktop app to repeat from the X paragraph. I'm not using any mic. #SoAnnoying

Make sure that it's not hearing Copilot if you have a mic. This was happening to me when listening to the response, and Copilot was hearing itself and trying to respond to itself. I turned the volume down or used headphones and the problem went away.,

I experience the same thing. When asked a question without the need for code in the response, the answers do seem complete. However when any code is required, it stops on the first line.

Copilot keeps cutting off mid-reply 😅 Tried restarting and reinstalling—still no luck. Really wish there was a “continue” button. Anyone else facing this?

still no fix? im trying to generate html code and it just suddenly stops, its also super laggy while im scrolling down the code as it writes it.

This seems to happen when I ask a borderline political question or ask about Microsoft's business practices. Just ask CoPilot about Microsoft's lay off of American workers while keeping cheaper Indian workers. The propaganda is pungent.
Also, if it tells me, "I understand your frustration" again I'm going to drive down to Redmond and tell then about my "frustration".
So far Copiolt is still in Beta. You can't have an AI this dumb...

Same issue here using copilot desktop on surface pro, i am not even sure if Microsoft is considering this issue.
One solution I have found on Copilot Desktop when it just stops, what i do is : right click then hit refresh, it shows my last question then i just write an interrogation mark and hit enter, it loads the entire response without stopping.
Hope we get a patch or something to fix this
