Automating the feedback collection process before reviews. Is it possible with Copilot?

Every quarter, our HR team manually emails people asking for peer feedback before reviews start. Its a huge time sink and half the responses come in late. Someone mentioned Copilot agents might be able to handle this, like automatically reaching out to the right people, collecting responses, and organizing them. Has anyone tried building something like this? Or is there a simpler way to automate 360 feedback collection in M365?

The chasing-people-down part is the worst, sorry you're dealing with it. We were sending the same Outlook reminder three times a cycle and still hitting around 60% response rate by deadline. So I get it.

On the Copilot agent question: yes, it's doable, but I'd push back a bit on whether it's the right path. You can build something in Copilot Studio that handles the outreach and reminders, paired with Forms for collection and Power Automate to route everything.

We actually had our IT lead build a v1 of exactly this. It worked. But every time we tweaked the review cycle or added a department, something broke and HR was sitting on IT to fix it. Felt like we'd built ourselves a part-time job.

It’s a rather roundabout way of doing things. We eventually went with a feedback software we found App Source, Teamflect. We automated feedback requests with it and now people receive them both in their outlook inbox and teams chat so its easy access. It also does have all the 360 feedback and AI summary and analysis stuff you would expect from a decent feedback tool.

I think it offers more but we haven’t tried any of the other stuff. Wroth giving a look.
