It is because Microsoft Teams got this another Application separate from the SAAS apart from the one inside the outlook. To make it sure that the same account holder opens the Microsoft Teams another OTP must be sent. That was just my analysis(",) because I also encountered such and at first it made me annoyed thinking that we go downgrade by this but actually it is part of ZERO TRUST access.
