What is the prerequisite for Migrating AirWatch to Intune
Hi Team,
Could you please provide your suggestion and help with the prerequisite for migrating AirWatch to MS Intune?
Note - Current environment is Airwatch and the client requirement migrating to MS Intune.

Switching MDMs is complex but has several clear steps:
- Planning: Study the current environment. Decide which elements need to be duplicated and which can be changed. Understand how the clear business needs will be met in the new environment.
- Build: Build out the new environment based on decisions and information from the Planning step.
- Test: Move a small number of devices to test migration and the new environment.
- Move: Move the remainder of the devices.
The details of any given migration will vary quite a bit given the specifics of your environment.
- There is no direct migration path to from a 3rd party MDM to Intune. The devices will need to be enrolled manually. How you enroll it will depend on the requirements. Retain the enrollment type from AirWatch or explore other options available in Intune. Challenge lies with dealing with existing devices. If a full device reset is not needed, then enrollment through Company Portal method may work for you.
