OneDrive - Configure team site libraries to sync automatically
HichamD I was able to do so, but it's still very fragile and devices were prone to freezing during syncs. We changed our approach and decided to use TEAMS as the user interface. This works much smoother and doesn't weigh down on the hardware.
GGotay Your workaround approach is better that the suggestions from MS support engineers. Please, I will like to know how you used TEAMS to achieve this because we are still having the issue and I am dreading having to work with 60 users to do this manually. Thank you

fredoster This can be performed in SharePoint (since TEAMS basically sits on SharePoint). You can create your site and assign libraries to the appropriate TEAMS groups. Users that have access to a specific team will be able to use that as their new "network share".
Or you can create your Team and the SharePoint library will then be created on the backend. From there you create your libraries and move your data into them as needed. Either way it accomplishes the same thing.
I HIGHLY recommend taking the opportunity to clean up any incorrect user access, slimming down your file shares, and doing some reorganizing as this is the best time to practice good hygiene.

Rudy_Ooms_MVP, in case you or anyone wonders, how to correctly solve the issue with the % values in the library ID. Use PowerShell
[uri]::UnescapeDataString("libraryID")As a result you get the usable string you can just copy out of your PowerShell session.
