Hi all, (posted here but was asked to move to here: Sharepoint - OneDrive Sync - Microsoft Community in my company we use a sharepoint: https://xxx.sharepoint.com/Name%20Public/ i can open the site in edge, i can interact with the files and folders and i can push on the "sync" method and onedrive will start syncing manually. Now to my problem: In intunes Admincenter I have a configuration policy with: "Configure team site libraries to sync automatically (user)" as follows: Value: https://xxx.sharepoint.com/Name%20Public | 1c27e911-bb36-4ae7-8fd8-d3b68c4d6e8c Name: xxx Public The policy is successfully applied to the users. However, one drive does not start synchronisation. $OneDriveCmd = "C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive\OneDrive.exe" Start-Process -FilePath $OneDriveCmd -ArgumentList "/url:$SiteURL /id:$LibraryID /automount" Results in an error, something like "cannot open program, url not readable" Path and library are given in variables to the script Does anyone have an idea for me33Views0likes0Commentsonedrive silent sign in not working

Silently sign in users to the OneDrive sync app with their Windows credentials Enabled Prompt users to move Windows known folders to OneDrive Enabled Prevent users from moving their Windows known folders to OneDrive Enabled Silently move Windows known folders to OneDrive Enabled Prevent users from syncing personal OneDrive accounts Enabled Set the sync app update ring Enabled Prevent users from redirecting their Windows known folders to their PC Enabled Allow syncing OneDrive accounts for only specific organizations Enabled Use OneDrive Files On-Demand Enabled after windows autopilot azure ad joined deployment, i login to work account. however, onedrive did not silent sign in. on the notification side, i received this suddenly. after i clicked on the notification and click my work account + 2fa + reboot, onedrive will silently sign in. i checked azure ad logs when sign in, it is using the application called "Device Management Client" i don't understand why and i am trying to achieve silent onedrive login. I cannot be asking user to take note of this notification and sign in manually and reboot everytime. anyone encounter this issue can advise how you solve please? thanks.4.9KViews1like6CommentsOneDrive Wont Sync Correctly When Configured Through Intune
I have recently converted my org over to MDM through Intune. We wanted to make things as easy as possible, so we wiped all the machines with a fresh start and setup OneDrive to auto sign in and silently move Desktop, Documents, and Pictures over to OneDrive locations, to seamlessly migrate their computer setups after the wipe. There might have been 3 policies in Intune's Settings Catalogue that were used to achieve this, documented across the web. OneDrive is preinstalled on windows, but we installed Office 365 through Intune. Prior to the Intune migration, we had no syncing issues. Now that we've migrated, files in OneDrive locations to don't save as expected. When you open an excel/word/ppt file in a OneDrive location, autosave is off. If you turn autosave on you are prompted to select a OneDrive account. When you select the account, it will save the file to the root OneDrive folder and NOT the folder the file is currently saved in. This is a consistent issues for our user who local sync SharePoint sites and who coedit because it is impossible to do anymore with local sync. This never happened, before we moved over to Intune. I have to imagine, there is one magical setting, that I flip the switch on and this will all work as expected, please help me find the switch.Solved4.4KViews0likes2CommentsOneDrive - Configure team site libraries to sync automatically
Hi, i would like to use the possibility to sync SharePoint libraries automatically. Therefore I've already created a new profile (type: administrative template) and set the "Configure team site libraries to sync automatically" setting. (Enabled, a Display Name, and the Value) I've found out the library ID as described here via "copy library id" within a SharePoint website. (Click on "syncronize" and then select "copy library id". At my administrative templates profile i've put the whole string copied before into the value. Unfortunately this isn't working. The profile is applied correctly, but the OneDrive client isn't syncronizing. That's why i dived deeper into the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\OneDrive At this point I've found the applied setting, so the client is receiving this setting. By the way: I also tried converting the string i got from the "copy library id" as i was told to here. Any idea, why this isn't working? Hello! I have activated Security baseline for Windows 10 on some test clients. All settings are default. When it is activated on the clients, PowerPoint presentations do not work in Teams. Live presentation that you can select when you are in a meeting (you can see all your PowerPoints) do not display any files at all. Select files from OneDrive do not work, the screen only displays gray rows. When I remove the clients from the baseline everything works fine. Where do I start troubleshooting amongst all settings?Solved2.1KViews0likes3CommentsConfigure team site libraries to sync automatically - Users can Unsync
Hi, We've managed to use an administrative template profile to sync libraries to users' OneDrive set up. This is working fine, and we have even managed to automate a reduction in the sync time from 8 hours. However users can unsync the libraries through OneDrive. We thought this was not meant to be possible. Given how simple the process is, we can't see what else we can do to block this. Can anyone provide any advice as to what could be causing this, if it is expected behaviour or any tips as to what we might be doing wrong? Thanks, Jon4KViews0likes4CommentsOneDrive "Work Location"
Hello All, We've just migrated our user base from on prem storage to OneDrive. It appears though after the migration about 1/4 of our users are unable to open files within their OneDrive. They get the follow error. They can view them online without issue. And they can move the file out of their OneDrive to somewhere locally on their device and it opens without issue. Any ideas?2.4KViews0likes3CommentsDevice Limit - OneDrive - Configure team site libraries to sync automatically
Is there a plan or workaround to expand the 1000 device limit for the libraries? Creating multiple policies for different departments or libraries is not ideal if a user has to access other departments information (since two policies cannot be applied to the same user due to policy conflict).1.8KViews0likes0Comments
