MIcrosoft Intune Sync Issue
What could be causing some devices connected to Microsoft Intune to not sync automatically with policies, requiring manual sync by end users? Also, what is the typical time interval for policy sync to occur in Intune? What is the time taken by the device to get synced with the Intune?

- We have verified that the Intune sync process can take up to 8 hours to complete. However, for a majority of end-users, the Intune sync remains pending until a manual sync is initiated. Could anyone please suggest some troubleshooting steps we can take to address this issue and ensure the Intune sync is processed in a more timely and automated manner? We would appreciate your guidance on how to optimize the sync process and minimize the need for manual intervention by end-users

Re- Well… config refresh is built to make sure offline devices could still get the policies reapplied when its being tempered with… and it doesnt require a service checkin… that means that the device wont get the latest policies! It reapplies the current ones.
- Hi cbs-mg, the sync can take up to 8 hours to complete all devices. How did you enroll your devices to Intune? Have the users the appropriate licenses assigned?

All the users have appropriate Intune licenses and we have enrolled them by using the "access work or school" feature.
- after initial enrollment it coukld take up to max 8 hours before the device starts syncing.... but the intune service could also just send a push command to device asking it to check in... and with it getting the policies... how long did you waited?
- even 3 months in some cases ...
