Trying to get support in reseting Authenticator MFA
Your blocker is administrator access after the Authenticator device reset, compounded by the telephone system failing to capture your tenant details. First check “Sign in another way” for an authentication method already registered. If another appropriately privileged administrator can sign in, ask them to manage your authentication methods and require MFA registration again. If every administrator is locked out, use Microsoft’s current business support telephone list; its support article specifically warns that numbers have changed. Explain that this is tenant administrator MFA recovery and that automated account recognition prevents case creation. Call from your organization’s registered number where possible, and have the tenant domain, administrator username and subscription details ready for private verification. If all subscriptions were purchased through a partner, contact that partner for support. The community cannot reset tenant authentication or guarantee a direct Data Protection contact.
I tried calling the automated response agent, it seemed to classification the problem but when it requested letter by letter spelling of the tenant domain, (once via TTS) it didn't read that info right and hang up the call. The company emailed the partner 3-times and we didn't get a reply. Is there any data protection e-mail open to the public?
