Unmanaged devices require Company Portal App
Hello,
I just created an app protection policy for unmanaged android device for MS TO-DO app and when I sign in to the app it says I have to install the Company Portal app in order for policies to apply, otherwise the policies don't work. So if I install the Company app the device becomes managed? So it sort of loses the idea of unamaged devices? Or is it normal to work with the Comany app even with unmanaged devices?
Thank you

- You do have to install the Company Portal app but you do not have to sign in or even open it.
