May worth to try this for the fix:
- Loop Permissions & Storage Location
- Loop components created in Teams channels are stored in the associated SharePoint site.
- If the tab links to a Planner plan created via Loop, ensure the affected user has access to that SharePoint location. Try sharing the Loop component directly via loop.microsoft.com to confirm access.
- Teams App Settings
- Go to Teams Admin Center > Teams Apps > Manage Apps and confirm that the Loop app is allowed for the affected user.
- Teams Cache Reset
- Quit Teams completely.
- Open Run (Win + R) and enter:
- %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Microsoft\MSTeams
- Delete all files in that folder.
- Restart Teams.
- Platform Differences
- Confirm whether the user is on desktop, web, or mobile. Some tabs behave differently across platforms.
- Loop Component Visibility
- If the tab is a website tab linking to a Loop-based Planner, it’s possible the Loop component itself has restricted visibility. Try pinning the Loop link in the channel conversation as a workaround while resolving tab visibility.
