Just restored a deleted user, trying to acces his mail from OWA and received this error: X-OWA-Error Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.InvalidLicenseException

Well did you assign a qualifying license to the user after recovering the deleted account? Converting to shared mailbox might work in some cases as advised above, but in general you should make sure to respect the licensing requirements (for example Archiving requires a license, etc.)
