Outlook Customer Manager for Office 365

Hi All

We are new users of Office 365 Business Premium.

We have previously used Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2010.

My questions: is it possible to import from BCM to Customer Manager?  Also, is there a size limit for the Customer manager database - this was a problem with BCM when we ran up against the 4 GB BCM database limit.

Any comments or help are appreciated.

Thanks

You can export the business contact and accounts from BCM to csv. Then import the csv files to OCM.

Hi, Yes we can export the business contact and accounts from BCM to csv. Then import the csv files to OCM. But there is a limition of 30 kb allowable size to import. Is there any way we can import a large file? Since if a large company would export a business contacts and accounts to csv, it will surely be higher than 30 KB.

Hi, I have the same problem, but i think that the 99% of users have this problem: 30KB is not enough for a CSV.

I thin there is an error in the import button, there are 3 choice but all of them

  • My 2 cents here: OCM in Office 365 Business Premium is a complete new application so my guess is that you wan't have in the box a migration option to move the information from the old Outlook Business Contact Manager to OCM. In regards of DB sizing, I'm not aware of any limits cc Welly Lee
