Outlook 365 for 1 user keeps having connection issues in cached mode

Thank you but we think we have resolved it now.
It was a combination of the user having over 544 folders in his mailbox and there is some strange stuff going on with Multifactor authentication on there Office 365. Despite having it off for all users and security defaults is off for all users it is still trying to use MFA. We have activated it for that one user and reduced the amount of folders and this is now working but none of the errors we were getting were pointing us in the right direction at all.
