Microsoft to do list app on iPhone
Hi all. Can someone please help me. I created a task in the app and then created subtasks but on one of the subtasks I had written over it today (so annoyed at myself). Does anyone how to undo or get it back. The lists help me carry out my daily stuff so really important for me to get it back. The to do list app is on my iPhone. Would really appreciated the help

Unfortunately Microsoft To Do doesn't have an "undo" button for substacks once you overwrite them. If you just edited the text, sometimes you can shake your iPhone right after making the change to trigger the iOS "Undo Typing" popup, but that only works right away, not hours later.
Take this:
- Check Outlook Tasks
If your To Do app is connected to your Outlook account:
- Open Outlook on a desktop or browser.
- Go to Tasks or Deleted Items.
- Sometimes deleted tasks (not edited ones) may appear there and can be restored.
- Review Activity in Microsoft 365
If you're using a work or school account, your IT admin might have access to audit logs or backups that could help recover lost data.
- Manual Recovery
If you remember part of what you wrote, try checking your Notes app, emails, or messages
