How to assess impact of Office 365 with Citrix

As an IT admin, how does one assess and test user experience and performance of using Citrix with SharePoint Online and One Drive for Business?

What tools on the client side can one recommend and what kind of metrics should one look for?

Any best practices would be appreciated.
