Robert Bollinger Hey, did you know that Outlook for Office 365 can use OAuth1? That's pretty cool, right? It means you can connect to other apps and services without sharing your password. But there's a catch: Outlook on the Web (OWA) doesn't work with OAuth2. That's a bummer, because OAuth2 is the latest and greatest version of the protocol. It's also called modern authentication, and it has some nice features like multi-factor authentication and conditional access.
So, if you want to use OAuth2 with Outlook, you'll have to use the desktop app or the mobile app.
