Embed PowerPoint for Web Permissions

Hello,

Is there a way to choose 'people in organization' when using the Embed feature in PPT for the Web version? It looks like I can only choose certain people or groups before I use the embed code.

I don't have access to a group for the whole organization. I don't want to add individual names. I want to share a training presentation using the embed so anyone in the org can view it. This share link is easy to share with everyone, but I much prefer the embed method than the link method when sharing trainings.

Thank you for any help!

This is not supported by default, try this:

    1. Share the Presentation with the Organization:

      • Open your presentation in PowerPoint for the Web
      • Click on Share
      • Select Anyone in your organization with the link can view
      • Copy the share link
    2. Generate Embed Code:

      • Go to the File menu
      • Select Share > Embed
      • Generate the embed code

Kidd_Ip  Thank you for your quick response.

I thought I did try this when I was testing things out thinking if I already previously shared with everyone, now sharing the embed will work because it says 'this file will only accessible to people with permissions'. But the permissions to everyone only seemed to through the link and I only could get the embed to work when I added a specific person or a specific group.

But I will try it again to be sure. I appreciate your time!

Yes, I tried what Kidd_Ip suggested with creating the link, but it does not work. I also tried taking that link and replacing it in the generated embed code and that did not work. The only thing that seems to work is adding individuals or adding groups if you have access to any.

Oh man... I really need the answer to this as well. Did you ever come up with anything, Debbie? It just seems so obvious that there would be a setting to "share to entire organization," but alas, no. Maybe it can be done by creating a group that has all of the org's members? HELP US MICROSOFT
