Deleted sharepoint group, but onenote notebooks are stil there.
Hi everybody,
I noticed that when i delete a sharepoint site through Office Admin Center - Groups, that the notebook regarding this sharepoint site does not get deleted.
Is there a way to use PowerShell to delete these notebooks?
I can't open them in the One note app either, it says that i don't have enough rights to open the notebook.
Kind regards,
Rick

well, it looks like that a lot of stuff are not always automatically deleted although it should :(
this is a similar case in regards to SPO Sites

Yeah that's too bad. I have another post where I figured out how to delete SPO site's, but i haven't found anything related to one note through powershell

- Because there is not PowerShell for OneNote...but if you figure out to delete the site, then the OneNote is going to be deleted too (the OneNote is living in the Group site)
- This could be related to the fact that the Group is soft-deleted...in regards to your question, there is not a cmdlet to delete SPO Notebooks
