Custom.dic for MS Word 365

I've installed Office 365 about a year ago. The custom.dic file  -  C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\UProof  is not updating the way it used to, in other words, when I add a word to the custom dictionary it shows as added, but does not appear in the mentioned file. Any advice?
