Can I create a friendly URL for a shared folder within Office 365 folder structure?

Hi,&nbsp;I want to share a&nbsp;folder for Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery.&nbsp;I have 2 options,&nbsp;1. create a subsite https://aaa.sharepoint.com/businesscontinuity2. share a folder in the root site, https://aaa.sharepoint.com/sitePages/Home.aspx?Root......&nbsp;The benifit of option 1 is that we have a userfriendly memorable url.&nbsp;Can I create a friendly URL for a shared folder within Office 365 folder structure?&nbsp;Or is option the preferable option in this case?&nbsp;Thank you for your time,Ollie&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Have you considered using the Featured Links widget on the SharePoint homepage? I don't know of a way to ask SharePoint to make a redirect or a shortened URL, but this would be accessible enough as long as everybody knew where to look.

Basically by default there is not a feature in SPO that generates a short Url
