I was hoping that this did not apply to a "Federated" B2B configuration between two Azure Tenants. This is being done as part of a merger of business units, and was hoping we could integrate without the need to duplicate accounts across the tenants.

If there is any other suggestions please feel free to post them.

Did you ever manage to get this going?

I am too facing a similar issue.

We have some shared mailboxes in one Azure tenant.

B2B is configured and working for Sharepoint but now we need to share mailboxes with users in the other tenant.

Hello AdzyD86

We decided at the time to move forward with some limited duplication of accounts across the Tenants. We have not investigated if assigning Exchange licenses to the external users as mentioned above resolves the issue.
