TSP - first class first time as new company

Hey,

I'm feeling a bit lost about where to find the detailed information I need.

I'm and MCT, and I also run my own company where I'd like to hold training sessions. I already have a group of students interested in taking a class with me. The problem is, I'm unsure about how or where to register my class.

I do have an MTM login and other needed accounts (at least I think so), but it's all quite overwhelming. Would you be able to guide me through process of registering and setting up my first class as both an MCT and a training provider for my own company?

I also bought already Partner Success Core Benefits and registered as TSP (event got email "Welcome to the Microsoft Training Services Partner Program". But still don't understand what next steps should be for being able to do the training.

Thanks so much for your help!

  • Hi pawelgrz

I see you posted something about a resolution over on the MCT site so I'm unsure if you now have the information you need?

Either way, and for those that see this post after you: the Welcome email directs partners to our onboarding resources at the Get Started collection. One of the documents in that collection, titled 'Get started guide: Microsoft Training Service Partners' is a checklist for the operational processes you need to establish in order to deliver official Microsoft training.

Basically, you'll need an MCT (you) that is certified in the area being taught. You'll need to deliver the course content via Microsoft Learn, including any labs that are required via an Authorized Lab Hoster (ALH). All students are required to receive an MTM survey link and Microsoft Learn Achievement Code for the course they are attending, at the conclusion of their training.

If you have already established these operational processes, then you are able to advertise as and deliver "official" Microsoft training. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
