Updated 6/26/25 (Final Update)
DP-600, DP-601, DP-602, DP-603, DP-604, DP-700, and DP-900 have all been brought back online. There may be additional development by your Authorized Lab Hoster so please reach out to your provider directly for availability.
Updated 3/28/25
DP-203, DP-3011, DP-3012, DP-3014 are online. DP-900 is online, but Lab #3 continues to be impacted.
On this month's community call (3/26) we announced that DP-600, DP-601, DP-602, DP-603, DP-604 are still offline with an ETA to have them all up by June. We'll revisit the update again on the April community call.
ORIGINAL POST:
Hello partners,
Many Data Platform labs have been taken offline at all lab hosters for newly discovered required fixes. The following labs are not currently available:
- DP-203
- DP-3011
- DP-3012
- DP-3014
- DP-600
- DP-601
- DP-602
- DP-603
- DP-604
DP-900 remains online, but Lab #3 is currently impacted by this outage. DP-3020 is not impacted.
Lab hosters are reaching out to instructors who are scheduled to deliver the impacted course. We don't currently have an ETA but will update here as we know more.

Hi, I'm new here. We have our first DP-600 course planned for next week. Is it okay to deliver it without a Lab environment from ALH (considering they are still offline)? We have lab content from GIT, and the training attendees have Fabric accounts. Also, XtreamLabs has the labs available for purchase, so I'm confused about how that is possible if they are offline. Can someone give me some clarity on this? Thank you.

We are leaving it up to each partner to decide if they want to deliver these courses, considering the current lab situation. As you say the learners have their own Fabric accounts, those can be utilized for the training. If Xtreme is offering a solution, then that could be used as well.

This is how I delivered DP-600 without ALH labs and with Fabric license
1. Create a Fabric capacity
2. Create a workspace for each student and apply the capacity
3. Make the student a contributor for their workspace
4. Provide students with the lab instructions from mslearn-fabric
5. Tell students to not create a workspace for each lab and to not perform the clean-up steps and to reuse lakehouse and warehouse in subsequent labs

March 19 Update:
We'll have an update on the Community Call next week. However, I do not expect an announcement to have the remaining DP labs online at that point. More info on the 26th.
Hi Dan / whoever can help out. I'm a bit lost I think. Where can I find the info from the 26th?
I did spot an announcement on the continuation of DP-203 but couldn't find an update on the Fabric trainings.
DanDonohueWould it be possible to get some clarity on the reason(s) for taking so many labs down? There is significant confusion around this topic within the learning community, especially because some ALHs still have the labs up. Thanks.
Is DP-600 coming back soon? Some ALHs still have it up, some took it down.
I heard the same. Apparently there's a bit of a 50/50 going on with whether the lab accounts actually work or not which is obviously not ideal.
I think after nearly 4 weeks it's high time for an ETA update. Even if that is 'no idea yet'. Not being able to teach these courses is not good for MS Fabric, MCTs and lab hosters.
