Not-yet localized courses

Hello,

There are some courses we want to teach, such as PL-500 or the new sustainability course, but I am sad that the courses are not available in our audience language yet.

Is there any ruling on how we teach MOC for languages not localized?

The reason I ask is that a lot of TSPs here in Japan are offering courses that, as far as I'm aware, were not yet localized to Japanese. I can provide links if necessary, but I am curious on what they are doing to be able to teach these classes officially.

    Hi Joshua --

I apologize for the delay -- I have been able to get compliance clarification, please anticipate a direct message within the hour.

I truly appreciate your patience as I looked into this with the appropriate teams.

    Thank you!

I just reached out to our localization team, to see what courses are in the pipeline and what can be done in the interim of courses not being localized. I will update, once I get an answer.

Okay, thank you Mindy. More than anything I just want to make sure our organization is doing things the "right" way. I know a lot of people would benefit from some of the courses that are not localized yet, so hopefully there is a reasonable solution for us to be able to use that content too 🙂

        Hi Joshua --

        Thank you for your patience!

The LOC team prioritizes the courseware and languages in most demand. Currently those two courses are not in the pipeline for localization in that language, but I did share your feedback.

Even when content is in English, MCTs can and do deliver courses in local language. Hopefully that will support the courses your organization needs for ILT deliveries in other languages. Microsoft Learn content is available in a broad language set, so referencing Microsoft Learn in ILT deliveries can also be beneficial.

Please reach out with anything else I can support you with.

        Thank you!
