MicrosoftFix Implemented - Are You Having Achievement Code Issues?
July 27 - Fix has been deployed. It may take up to 24 hours to propagate through the system. If you don't see achievement code buttons return by Tuesday afternoon Pacific Time, please let me know. Also, make sure you're loading a refreshed version of the page (crtl + r).
July 24 - Deployment of fix is now scheduled for Monday, July 27th.
July 23 - Fix has been delayed while other fixes occur at the datacenter level. Awaiting details on a new timing for the fix. Will update here when I know more.
July 22 - Fix should start rolling out tonight. Please check the course page for the achievement code button (Hit crtl + r to refresh). Please let me know if you still do not see the button after July 23. Thank you.
July 18 - Good news today. Engineering has determined the issue, and a fix is coming in the early days of next week. I'll keep you updated when we get the fix implemented. Thank you for your patience.
July 15 - our engineering team is not seeing a widespread outage on their side, but they are continuing to investigate. If you are still experiencing an outage please send me a private message (please do not post any PII directly in this thread) with the following:
- Your partner organization name (+ MPN ID if you know it)
- Email address you're using to log into your Admin account on Learn
- Which courses you were previously able to generate codes but no longer can (examples, doesn't have to be all of them)
- Approximately how long you have not been able to generate the codes
I plan to update this thread every 2 days while we investigate the issue. Thank you!
July 13 - thanks to all that shared their current achievement code issues. The team continues to investigate but no current time to resolution.
July 1 - Hi all, I've seen a few posts regarding sudden issues in generating achievement codes. If this is an issue for you can you please reply to this with the course you're trying to generate and the approximate time you tried to generate? Trying to determine the scope of the problem.
If you previously had an issue but it appears to be resolved now, please let me know that as well.

i can see the achivement code button, but when i click on it, it says that the code cant be created... can you please let me know how i can address this issue? thank you DanDonohue

i can get the achievement code, however the code format is like (https://learn.microsoft.com/zh-tw/users/me/achievements?redeem=54JQLY) which not like before (https://learn.microsoft.com/zh-tw/users/me/achievements?WT.mc_id=ilt_partner_webpage_wwl&ocid=6448429&redeem=N9D93P)

Thanks alexntwu - this is interesting. A URL like the one you're seeing now, without all the tags, would not provide your organization with proper activity / performance tracking. Can you send me a direct message with the email you're using to access the code generation on the course pages? Thank you.

Hi , as of now i still cannot create links for DP604 and 605, MS4018 and 4019, PL300 and AB100 , i have done the refresh multiple times but no results , thanks QA

Hi, might not reflect for everyone but commenting here that refreshing (ctrl+r) as DanDonohue recommended solved it for us.

Please see my July 23 update. I will continue to update this thread as the fix evolves.
I found the achievement code (ex: https://learn.microsoft.com/zh-tw/users/me/achievements?redeem=54JQLY ) is some different than it used to be. The partnet ID part is missing in the code.
Is this form correct?

Not sure what you mean by "found". Achievement codes are generated with copy that ties the redemption back to the partner that generated it. The code you shared would not be credited to any specific partner.
I found the generated achievement code (ex: https://learn.microsoft.com/zh-tw/users/me/achievements?redeem=RPV997 is something different than it used to be. No partner ID in this code requesting URL,
Is this form correct?

The "Generate Achievement Code" button has disappeared from my account, so I am unable to generate Achievement Codes.
I've tested in multiple browsers and also in Incognito/InPrivate mode, with the same result.
Could you please confirm if this is a known issue and provide any update on when a fix will be available?

I'm unable to generate Achievement Codes for any of the courses I have tried.
