One Excel sheet with different access levels
Do not believe that this is so easily possible and or even possible at all.
Since compatible topics will have an effect from the start, such as Excel for web, Excel on Mobile, OneDrive or SharePoint. It does not seem possible for me to bring everything together and at the same time have a function that can do all this.
I am sure you know it too, but I would like to point out that it is not always safe to distribute password-protected files containing confidential information. Since the password, function in Excel is actually used to create restrictions in editing, so that work is protected and users do not accidentally delete anything. When you share entire files or passwords with other users.
You still run the risk of passwords falling into the hands of unintended users.
Please remember that locking a file with a password does not necessarily protect it from malicious intent.
Finally, I would like to offer you a simple VBA solution that works in Excel with Windows, do not know if this works so well with Mac, you have to try it :).
If you find a better and more accurate solution that suits your needs, I would love to hear about it...we never stop learning :)).
Additional Info:
Apply different passwords or permissions to separate ranges in workbooks in Excel
I hope I could help a bit with the approach in the file.
