Multiple Work Sheet row syncing.
Need to view multiple worksheets at the same time. Need to compare the data for the same row on them all to see the variances.
Would like to have all three scroll and highlight the same row of the one I am working in. Is this possible?
On the ribbon, go to the View tab and click New Window (in the Window Section). This will open a second window of the active workbook (you'll notice the title bar will now say "Book1:2" or "Book1 - 2", depending on your version of Excel). Then, in the same section of the View tab, click View Side by Side. When you first do this, the Synchronous Scrolling button should also be activated, but if it's not, then click it. If the default arrangement of the windows is not ideal, click Arrange All (in the same section of the View tab again), then choose the desired window arrangement, check the box for "Windows of active workbook" and click OK.
NOTE: you can create as many "New Windows" as you want, however, the Synchronous Scrolling option can only be used with two (2) windows at the same time.

So far I know, Excel doesn't provide a direct built-in feature to automatically synchronize scrolling and highlighting of rows across multiple worksheets in the same workbook.
However, you can achieve a similar effect with the following steps and a workaround:
Method: Using the Camera Tool to Create a Visual Synchronization
This method creates a visual synchronization between worksheets using the Camera tool. It's a workaround to mimic the effect of synchronized scrolling and highlighting.
Step 1: Set Up Your Worksheets
- Open your Excel workbook.
- Create or open the worksheets you want to compare. For this example, let's assume you have two worksheets, "Sheet1" and "Sheet2."
Step 2: Activate the Camera Tool
- If you don't see the "Camera" tool in your ribbon, you need to add it.
- Click "File" > "Options."
- In the Excel Options dialog box, select "Quick Access Toolbar."
- In the left column, select "All Commands" from the dropdown.
- Find and select "Camera" in the list of commands and add it to your Quick Access Toolbar.
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
Step 3: Take a Picture of the Relevant Rows
- Go to "Sheet1" and select the row you want to synchronize.
- Click on the "Camera" tool in the Quick Access Toolbar. Your cursor will turn into crosshairs.
- Click on "Sheet2" where you want to place the picture. It will create a linked image of the selected row from "Sheet1" on "Sheet2."
- Repeat this process for the same row on "Sheet2" to create an image on "Sheet1."
Step 4: Synchronize Scrolling
- Scroll in either "Sheet1" or "Sheet2." The linked images will scroll along with the active sheet.
- This provides a visual indication of the row you are looking at in both worksheets.
Step 5: Customizing for Your Needs
- You can adjust the position, size, or formatting of the linked images as needed.
- You can also create additional linked images for different rows or on other sheets as required.
This method provides a workaround for visual synchronization. It won't automatically highlight rows, but it does give you a visual reference to see the corresponding rows on both sheets as you scroll.
Please note that the availability of features and tools can change with Excel updates, so make sure to check if there are any new features or third-party add-ins that provide better synchronization options in more recent versions of Excel.
