Movement of cursor within Formula inside Conditional Formatting
Yesterday morning (08/16/22) Excel 365 "crashed" and everything was 'normal' before that happened. After re-opening my workbook, all the CF formatting for Column 'B' was wiped out and I'm having to re-do all the CF for each cell in Column B that needs it. Now, I can't place the cursor to where I need it within a formula inside the CF fromula box. (The cursor remains at the end of the formula. (I don't have this problem when editing a formula within a cell.)) I'm using Win 10 & Excel 365. I tried switching mice with no change. I also tried using Fn+F2 to move the cursor and that doesn't work, either. I'm at my wits end. Thanks in advance for any and all help & suggestions.

- Goldenwolf49Copper ContributorI am having this same issue in regards to the problems using the mouse cursor to put myself in the middle or anywhere within a conditional formatting formula. For me, it also only for certain formats within my workbook. It only occurs within one worksheet, and even then - it is only for some of the formatted cells. I can do the F2 thing, but i want to be able to use my mouse and cursor. Please help

Goldenwolf49 I was having this issue constantly. Searched the internet and couldn't find any answer. But I found a workaround for me. I have no idea why this would be the case, but if it happens scrolling to the top of the worksheet fixes this issue and I can once again navigate with the mouse.
- dscheikeyBronze ContributorTo be able to work with the cursor keys in the conditional formatting dialog, you must first press the F2 (stands for Edit) key.
- dlcartinIron ContributorThank you for your reply....Unfortunately, I've tried that and it didn't work. I, also, tried it by selecting the Fn button 1st. But, thanks again.
