Keyboard shortcut for fill down not working in Excel
There used to be a keyboard shortcut to fill down (CRTL+D). But it no longer works. CRTL+R works. What's happened?

- thisismyusernametodayCopper ContributorAlso ran into this issue, if your in browser navigate to the help tab, select keyboard shortcuts and check the box to override browser shortcuts.

As far as I know (maybe I'm wrong) CTRL+D has no function, although the Excel help says it uses the Fill Below command to fill in the contents and format of the top cell of a selected range in copy the cells below. For this there is Ctrl+R in Excel.
As far as I can understand, all information without guarantee, since I don't have Excel 365, but from Excel 2007 to 2016 I'm pretty sure that's the case.

I've had previous versions of Excel and CTRL+D always worked to fill down. In fact, it also worked in Excel 365 until within the last few months. Strange thing is that in some of my older Excel files, it works, but when I save them, then it seems to stop working. Don't know if I have changed some setting to invalidate it.
