Issue With Pasting on Filtered Rows in a Excel Table : MAC

I have this issue, where, if I copy a cell, and paste on the filtered rows, the paste happens on all the rows and not only the selected row. This happens specifically when the range is in a Table.

Can anyone help me with this?

If the filtering functionality combined with tables is critical for your work and the paste issue remains a problem, consider using Google Sheets or another spreadsheet application temporarily until the issue is resolved in Excel.

If feasible, consider unfiltering the table first, pasting your values, and then reapplying the filter. While this isn't the most efficient solution, it guarantees that you're only pasting where you intend.

    1. Check the filter status: Make sure you have applied the filter correctly and that only the target rows are displayed.
Click the Filter icon in the table title bar to check the filter conditions.
    2. Use the Paste to Visible Cells feature: Copy the data to be pasted.
Select the filtered visible cell area.
Right-click on the selected area and select “Paste into Visible Cells”.
    3. Paste using shortcut keys: Copy the data to be pasted.
Select the filtered visible cell area.
Press Command + Option + V, and then select “Paste to Visible Cells”.
    4. Paste after unfiltering: unfilter and show all rows.
Paste the data into the target area.
    Reapply the filter.
    5. Use a secondary column: Add a secondary column to the table to mark the visible rows after filtering.
Use formula or conditional formatting to mark the visible rows.
Paste data into the marked visible rows.
    6. Contact Microsoft Support: If none of the above methods work, it is recommended to contact Microsoft support team with detailed error messages and screenshots for further assistance.

This is on a Mac, Microsoft® Excel for Mac - Version 16.95.1 (25031528)

I don't see any paste to visible cells option.
