How to fetch Same Values occurs in different columns in MS Excel?
Hello Sir/Mam,
My name is Amit Kumar Sharma.
I have a real job problem with MS Excel. Please help to solve this. I am sending you an excel workbook. It has 02 sheets.
The first sheet contains the details of the examinees of a class, such as student's name, father's name, enrollment number, roll number, gender, question paper codes of the subjects they have taken in the examination form, etc.
Subjects are as follows - Economics, English Literature, Hindi Literature, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Sanskrit Literature, Sociology etc.
The second sheet contains the names of the papers and their codes.
My problem is -
1. These paper codes are in different columns of excel for each record, i.e. the code of any one paper is not located in the same column of excel. For example - 1BA02T1 (Economics) for the first record is in R4, but for the second it is in P5, which makes it difficult to filter the record. I want the code of the same paper to appear in each column.
2 . Instead of these paper codes, the names of the respective papers should come.
Please fix this problem. Solve it by different methods.

Please provide an example of what the output should look like.

Clm.A Clm.B Clm. C Clm.D Clm.E
Stu. Name Sub./Papers
1 Amit Eco. Hindi - Computer
2 Sagar - Hindi Sanskrit Computer
3 Tom Eco. - Sanskrit Computer
4. Rahul Eco. Hindi - Computer
and So on.
Each Column should be unique Sub./Paper corresponding to the Student.
ThanksBut one student can have multiple papers with the same subject - for example student 3 has 1BA25T1, 1BA25T2 and 1BA25P1, all related to Computer Application. Do you want to see Computer Application just once for this student?
