Exel formulas don´t work anymore
Since some days several simple formulas like C2=C1+B2 don't work anymore when I fill in a number in the B2-cell. The calculation is not made anymore.
What may be the cause and what suggestions are there to fix this?
I use a PC with Windows 10 and Office 365.

Evert1959 On the home tab you'll find a group of icons for "Numbers". If it says "Text" like in the picture when you have selected C2, it's a text.
By the way, the same could be the case for C1 and B2. You could also use a formula like =ISNUMBER(C2) to see if the cell contains a number or not. If TRUE than it's a number, if FALSE it's a text.

Evert1959 Perhaps C2 is formatted as text or you accidentally pressed "Show Formulas" on the Formula ribbon.
