Exel formulas don´t work anymore

Evert1959 On the home tab you'll find a group of icons for "Numbers". If it says "Text" like in the picture when you have selected C2, it's a text.
By the way, the same could be the case for C1 and B2. You could also use a formula like =ISNUMBER(C2) to see if the cell contains a number or not. If TRUE than it's a number, if FALSE it's a text.
Evert1959 Perhaps C2 is formatted as text or you accidentally pressed "Show Formulas" on the Formula ribbon.

One says, date which allows you to put date and time in, and the other says time which lets you do the same. and the cell shows the date and time, also. Does that make a difference in calculation to add an integer to the timke?
