Using a drop down to hide/unhide columns in a table (VBA Code)

 

I would like to use a drop down to hide/unhide columns based on a persons name, the columns in orange are the columns I want to hide/unhide. When I choose a name from the drop down, I would like for the columns of other peoples names to be hidden(column1, column2 etc.. will be names. 

The names will change over time and I would like not to update the code every time this happens, is this possible?

Hello,

 

my scrollbar form control in Excel is not working as soon as I scroll to the right in my spreadsheet to see more columns. This works perfectly fine when I navigate to the right using the arrows on the screen scrollbar, but not If I navigate only via the screen scrollbar.


This problem appeared also on several other Laptops/Office accounts.

Some possible solutions you can try:

If these solutions do not work, you may need to update your Excel version or check if there are any network issues affecting the ActiveX controls. 

You can also try turning off hardware graphics acceleration in Excel Options > Advanced > Display, see the link with the suggested solutions.
